Everton haven’t really been able to ensure consistency this season under Marco Silva, with defensive issues still creeping in at times.
The Toffees would have had their sights set on securing a European spot prior to the start of the current campaign, but things haven’t exactly gone to plan as they’re now on the long road to recovery.
However, the Everton boss can’t help but thank a couple of first team members for their individual efforts at times this season. Indeed, the Toffees have been reliant on particular players in matches recently, and it’s fair to say that they’ve certainly delivered the goods.
With that in mind, here’s a look at TWO Everton players that must keep up their stunning form…
The Englishman has been rather impressive this season with a number of goals and assists to his name.
Indeed, the attacker managed to score Everton’s only goal in their Carabao Cup exit recently and provided an assist for one of the goals in the Premier League victory over Fulham.
Therefore, it’s vital that Silva can continue to get the best out of the former Arsenal man as his attacking prowess could take them to where they want to be.
The Icelandic international was on fire against Fulham at Goodison Park as he bagged a brace to go with the goal he secured in the defeat against West Ham United. Indeed, the attacking midfielder looks to be in the form of his life and is a constant danger in front of the opposition’s goal.
Of course, the 29-year-old has single-handedly secured points for the Toffees in recent times, so Marco Silva will be relying on him to continue his fine form in weeks to come.
