Marco Silva has put his stamp on the young, rejuvenated Everton squad that has been gaining momentum as the season has gone on.

As Everton perch in tenth position in the Premier League, Marco Silva can be pleased with how his squad have performed so far. There are evidently things to work on but lots of positives to take from the first half of the season.

A lot of the enjoy for Evertonians has come via the new signings. Richarlison, Lucas Digne and Andre Gomes have impressed especially, with the focus being on developing talent before they reach their prime.

However, there has not been so much joy for other youngsters who are yet to truly mark their mark on the side and therefore, if they are unable to step up their game, this Everton DUO could be set to move on in January...

Mateusz Hewelt

The 22-year-old has made just one appearance in the EFL Trophy this season and is yet to start for the first-team.

As Everton are set for the future with Jordan Pickford between the sticks, as well as having Maarten Stekelenburg and Joao Virginia for cover, Hewelt is not really necessary.

In order to further his career, unless he is able to prove himself and fast to Silva to stand a chance of getting an opportunity, a move elsewhere would be in his best interest.

Jonjoe Kenny

Jonjoe Kenny has had mixed reviews during his time on Merseyside as quite a few fans have been quick to criticise the 21-year-old, whereas others felt he needed time to adapt and find his way in first-team football.

However, judging by Kenny's six appearances this season and the fact he has not been in a Premier League matchday squad for nearly three months, Silva does not seem to favour the England youth international.

If he is unable to turn it around at Everton and force his way into Silva's thinking, he could leave for a better chance of succeeding elsewhere.
