Summer plans already being touted as Everton aim for Europe next year

Our Everton fans here in the the Transfer Tavern have enjoyed the past few weeks but, according to The Liverpool Echo, plans are already in place for transfers in the summer.

The Toffees have had a pretty decent time of it of late both on and off the pitch with them well placed to finish in the Europa League spots at least come the end of the season.

In the transfer market the Blues signed the likes of Morgan Schneiderlin and Ademola Lookman in two eye-catching moves whilst Ronald Koeman also managed to shift some deadwood.

Darron Gibson, Bryan Oviedo and Oumar Niasse all moved on from the club and now it appears that summer moves are already being discussed.

The report believes that the Toffees had aimed to bring in Adrian from West Ham as an extra option in goal but that, of course, did not come to pass.

Even so, the Toffees will apparently look to sign a new stopper in the next window with neither Joel Robles or Maarten Stekelenburg really claiming the first team spot as their own.

A good idea to get a new ‘keeper in, Everton fans? Let us know below!
