Speaking to Everton’s official website, Toffees winger Bernard has come out to praise manager Carlo Ancelotti’s as ‘one of the world’s best‘ for giving him the freedom to develop in his role – with many supporters hailing the Brazilian’s comments on Twitter as a result.
Bernard, who has been arguably one of Everton’s most influential players going forward when playing, notching two goals and two assists from the wing in 11 Premier League starts, spoke candidly surrounding Ancelotti’s man-management – hailing his approach and going as far to say he is up there with the very best.
The 27-year-old, compared to fellow starting winger Theo Walcott, has averaged more key passes (1.1) and completed dribbles (1.3) per game over his English teammate despite not being able to match him in terms of efforts on goal (1.6), as per WhoScored.com. Indeed, Ancelotti will surely be hoping Bernard can continue these statistics or perhaps better them, with supporters praising the pair’s relationship on Twitter whilst hailing the Brazil international himself.

I believe Bernard could be really effective playing behind the attacking duo in the foremost point of a midfield. He is highly skilful and with Carlo’s guidance he could become a star.
