Everton have been extremely inconsistent under boss Marco Silva, bouncing between the top ten and bottom half of the table.
With their squad on paper, that shouldn’t be happening and fans will rightly be vocal in saying they need new players during the transfer window.
Everton’s biggest problem, which has been present for more than a season now, is that they don’t have a quality striker and are seriously suffering because of it.
Cenk Tosun was good for a while but with just two goals this season, the Toffees need to eye more.
The signing of Richarlison has been vital and Everton could link him up with fellow Brazilian star Wesley – who currently plays for Club Brugge.
Wesley, (who is valued at £12.6 million on Transfermarkt) has had a great season so far out in Belgian, proving to be a reliable hitman in-front of goal.
With ten goals to his name and a further six assists in 27 appearances, Everton would do well to sign a player of his calibre and one that continues to improve.
At the age of 22, Wesley has great potential to be a star in the Premier League and Everton could definitely be the right club for him seeing as they’re lacking a frontman like the Brazilian.
He has a brilliant physical presence and that could be a vital ingredient as to how he succeeds in England, as well as his clinical finishing ability of course.
With how inconsistent Everton have been, new signings would definitely be advised, specifically up-front, where if they get it right, could reap the rewards because of it.
