Yet more good news for Everton fans on transfer front with medical complete

It’s been a summer to celebrate for the Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern thus far, who’ve enjoyed seeing the likes of Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen and potentially Michael Keane arrive at the club.

Indeed, Ronald Koeman is splashing the cash at Goodison Park, much to the delight of the Toffees propping up the bar in the Tavern.

So, in a good mood already, imagine just how well reports from the Liverpool Echo have gone down amongst the blue half of the Merseyside locals in this evening. They’ve revealed that, while a deal if not yet confirmed, the signing of Sandro Ramirez is all but confirmed.

The Spaniard – currently away on U21 duty at Euro 2017 – is thought to have already passed a medical with Everton ahead of a move from Malaga. Personal terms have reportedly been agreed, though the La Liga outfit are not thought to want to release him until his contract expires on July 3rd.

Club officials are said to have travelled to Poland last week to conclude a deal, one that will reportedly cost them around £5.2m.

That means an announcement may have to wait, though our resident drinkers aren’t overly concerned, as long as he’s revealed as a new signing soon.
