Everton’s Ademola Lookman still on RB Leipzig’s radar

Everton could still see one of their talented players leave Goodison Park this summer with the transfer window still open for clubs across Europe.

According to Bild, Red Bull Leipzig remain interested in Ademola Lookman and are keen to bring him back to Germany following an impressive loan spell with the Bundesliga side.

The 20-year-old netted five times in 11 appearances for the club, which has led to them wanting to bring him back to the country, with the winger also believed to be keen on the idea.

Lookman is believed to be highly thought of at the Toffees, with Marco Silva prepared to give him a chance to excel at Goodison Park.

However, the former Charlton Athletic graduate’s short-term future has been thrown into doubt after he was left out of their squad for their opening Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Verdict:

Everton will want to keep Lookman at the club and give him a chance to impress for them, however, they may not have the opportunity to do so.

Leipzig seem determined to try and bring the 20-year-old back to the Bundesliga and could test the Toffees resolve over their highly-rated talent.

It remains to be seen if the Germans make another offer the player, whether it be for a loan or on a permanent transfer, however, they will need to act rather swiftly.
