Everton will be disappointed that they didn’t secure all three points at Molineux yesterday as they were pegged pack on two occassions.
The Toffees were reduced to 10 men in yesterday’s Premier League opener as Phil Jagielka was shown a straight red card for a tackle on Diogo Jota, but they still managed to secure a point. Although, it appears as if Marco Silva is turning his attention to potential departures, as according to the Mirror, Middlesbrough are eyeing Yannick Bolasie and Muhamed Besic.
Middlesbrough are hoping to tie up a number of loan deals in the coming weeks with the Championship club anxious to tie up Everton pair Yannick Bolasie and Muhamed Besic.
The Championship club remain keen on the pair but may have to play a waiting game until the end of the month to add both to Tony Pulis’s squad.
Muhamed Besic saw a permanent move to Middlesbrough collapse during the summer transfer window and Yannick Bolasie came close to joining Burnley, only for Everton to pull the plug.
The Toffees won’t be too fussed that Middlesbrough are eyeing a swoop for both Bolasie and Besic as both men are currently out of Marco Silva’s plans.
Indeed, sending the pair out on loan will allow them to earn regular minutes in the hope that they progress and develop into Premier League standard players. Although, the Toffees could still look to offload both men on permanent deals at some point in future, as Silva has already shown he’s not afraid to splash the cash.
