Everton’s newest investor hands Toffees massive funds

EvertonThe Everton fans are gathered at the jukebox selecting some tunes in The Transfer Tavern this evening discussing reports of major investment in their side.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that new Everton investor Farhad Moshiri has pledged to make £100 million available for squad improvements in the summer.

Moshiri bought a 49.9% share in the club last week and is keen to make the club a force once more he will act as co-chairman with Bill Kenwright and has made it known that he has big plans for the blue half of Merseyside.

The Iranian, who sold his £200 million stake in Arsenal last week, is keen to get on with plans to build a new stadium and tying down young players John Stones and Ross Barkley to longer term deals with the club.

The Everton fans in The Transfer Tavern are delighted with the news and hope that this major investment will bring the club success in future season’s.
