Everton fans in The Transfer Tavern are gathered around the jukebox discussing news that a January signing is already training with the club.
A deal was agreed between the two sides believed to be worth around £250,000 after the defender’s impressive form for the League One side already this season.
Bury manager Gary Flitcroft confirmed that the player was already training with the Premier League side, as during a press conference he said:
“I have spoke to him since and he has gone in at Everton and he is quite enjoying it. The club has acted very well in protecting the interests of Matty Foulds and I’m really plotting his career and rooting for the kid because he could be a fantastic player.”
Those Everton fans in The Transfer Tavern are delighted that the youngster is settling in well at the club and look forward to seeing him turn out one day in the future at Goodison Park.
