The West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern are nervous today after reading a worrying story in The Daily Mirror that claims Manuel Pellegrini is already at odds with the West Ham board just two weeks into his tenure. The Chilean gaffer is reportedly unhappy that the board have rejected a number of suggestions of players to target, despite being promised funds in the market.

Pellegrini, who won the Premier League with Manchester City in 2014, was hailed as a superb announcement from the West Ham board by most fans, although it seems the Chilean may be too ambitious for The London Stadium faithful as he’s already becoming frustrated by the club’s board. The club confirmed the signing of Ryan Fredericks on a free transfer from Fulham earlier today, although the club supposedly has some more exciting players lined up.
Whilst the fans can start dreaming about bringing in players who have previously played under the former Real Madrid, who was in charge when Los Blancos signed Cristiano Ronaldo, don’t get excited West Ham fans, the fans may have to wait until the gaffer can come to an agreement with his new board before he can start splashing the cash. The club has previously opened the chequebook and splash on some high-profile flops, which Pellegrini will not want to see as he plans for a long and successful spell with the Hammers.

Seen his translated comments and making a story out of it. Board have to back him or no point appointing him.

If they appointed him they have to back him at least at first whats the point otherwise we need to buy good players that means spending more money than usual otherwise will carry on being bottom half team

No surprise with our owners, yet another false dawn.
There could be serious repercussions with the supporters if they get up to their usual con tricks this time.

No wonder WHU will never be a top 10 side.
