For a long time now there has been a lot of talk in the Transfer Tavern about the insecure position of current Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers, sparked by the club’s poor start to the season and mostly due to the fact Jurgen Klopp is currently out of work.
However, today it looks like good news for Rodgers and perhaps bad news for any Premier League sides hoping that the ex-Dortmund man would make a move to their club in the near future.
The Daily Mail are reporting today that with the contract of Bayern Munich’s current manager, Pep Guardiola running out at the end of the season, German gaffer Jurgen Klopp could be in line for a sensational move into the Bavarian hot seat.
After managing their arch rivals Dortmund for seven seasons this would cause shockwaves around the world of football and would surely leave him as public enemy number one by the Yellow machine.
It has come as a surprise to many in this pub that Klopp would betray his old club and not take up surely one of many offers in England.
