Nottingham Forest are currently plying their trade in the Championship and sit 17th in the table, with high hopes of gaining promotion to the Premier League in the near future. Meanwhile, Forest Ladies are currently playing in the FA Women’s Premier League North division, the third tier of women’s football in England. With their latest partnership, the men’s and women’s teams at the club will be looking to kick on and achieve promotion in their respective leagues.
The partnership is a particularly big step for the improvement of women’s football in the city of Nottingham, women’s football is one of the fastest growing sports in the country at the moment, and with organisations like Nottingham Forest and Forest Ladies coming together, it can only be good for the city and the sport. To celebrate the agreement, representatives from both clubs will be attending a coaching event for more than 300 girls from the Nottingham area.
