Liverpool fans here in the Tavern continue to drink in pure delight, as chants can be heard from stool-to-stool after last night’s emphatic Champions League win.
The Reds have been a force to be reckoned with under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp, as arguably one of the world’s most prominent attacks has caused devastation among many thus far. However, it’s been the defensive side of things that has received the most amount of praise recently, as defensive errors seem to have filtered right out of the Liverpool system.
Although, it’s been the efforts of one player in particular that’s caught the eye of many of our local residents here in the Tavern, as full-back Andy Robertson has been a Scottish sensation down the left hand side for the Reds this season. For a player that many saw as a desperation buy in the form of back-up for Alberto Moreno in the summer, he’s soon outdone these remarks as he continues to establish himself as a key component of the Liverpool defensive line.
And, after yet another excellent performance in the 5-0 win over FC Porto last night, Robertson took to sharing an instagram post on his personal Twitter account, as he showed delighted at both his and the team’s performance.
Great result and performance from the boys, clean sheet and some great goals! Delighted to make… https://t.co/dDm4HaJDFf

Following the player’s post, fans were quick to thank the defender for his incredible efforts so far this season, as many dished out huge compliments to the Scot.
Nevertheless, here’s a look at exactly the sort of reaction being given off by supporters on social media…
