Former professional player Carlton Palmer believes that a deal will get pushed through for Harry Kane to join Manchester City.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Kane is training with the Tottenham team today (Tuesday) for the first time since coming back from his holidays and that Man City are still hopeful of signing the striker, but Tottenham’s stance hasn’t changed and they want to keep him in north London.
Fabrizio Romano also reported that City were preparing a €150m bid for the England and Spurs skipper and Palmer believes a deal will get pushed through, exclusively telling Transfer Tavern: “I think, reading between the lines, there was always a deal to be done and so he wouldn’t have been included against Man City.

City have already added to their squad this summer with the £100m signing of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa while goalkeeper Scott Carson completed a permanent deal.
Kane was in remarkable goalscoring form last season and picked up the Premier League Golden Boot award, finding the back of the net on 23 occasions in the league, adding ten goals in all other competitions.
