Fans laud Richarlison following his brace on international duty

Everton moved to complete one of the most eye-catching deals of the entire summer window as they forked out an initial fee of £35 million to secure the services of Richarlison.

The deal was widely frowned upon and dubbed as a waste of money after the young Brazilian had slumped into a goal drought with Watford last season, but he wasted no time in silencing his doubters this season as he bagged 3 goals from his first 3 Premier League appearances.

His development with the Toffees convinced the manager of the Brazil national side, Tite, that he is ready to step up and showcase his talent alongside some of the world’s most gifted footballers.

The 21-year-old attacker was handed his debut against USA last week when he replaced Roberto Firmino in the second-half, but he was handed his first start for Brazil during the early hours of Wednesday morning as the South American giants faced El Salvador.

And Richarlison continued to enhance his glowing reputation by scoring his first ever Brazil goal in the first-half before he added a second shortly after the break to help Brazil on their way to a convincing 5-0 victory.

In response to his performance, supporters took to Twitter to heap praise on Everton’s summer recruit and tip him for an incredibly bright future in the game.

Here’s what Everton fans and neutrals alike have had to say about Richarlison’s first goals for Brazil…
