West Ham United have had a difficult start to life under Manuel Pellegrini, however, they have shown signs of improving as each game goes by.
The Hammers started their Premier League campaign with four consecutive defeats before turning things around with impressive results against Everton, Chelsea and Manchester United.
The London Stadium outfit have since had back-to-back defeats and will be looking ahead to their game against Leicester City at the weekend as an opportunity to stop the rot.
West Ham made a number of signings in the summer and some of those have started to gel into their new surroundings, with Felipe Anderson admitting that he is starting to adapt to conditions.
“They have confidence in me and I am very happy here,” he said.
“The results have not yet been as good as we would have liked, but I believe the work will have an effect and we will start getting better results.
“My adaption has been wonderful, better than expected, and it will be even better with time.
“People think that Felipe Anderson can make a difference in every match and to have the trust of my teammates and to have the trust of the fans is very important. We will try to get better results at home in the next matches.
“The results have to improve soon and we need to keep being positive to get them.”
West Ham fans will be pleased and excited to hear that Anderson has already started to adapt and will be keen to see how much better he can become in the future.
The Brazilian was considered to be a huge coup for the club when he joined the Hammers, and despite not quite hitting the heights that a huge fee automatically places on you, he has been making a positive impression with some of his play.
There is no doubt that fans would like to see some consistency and improvement to his attacking play, but if the midfielder believes things can only get better, then West Ham fans will surely only be excited to see what the future entails.
