Our resident Arsenal supporters hanging by the bar have been banging the same tune about Thomas Lemar for weeks.
The Monaco star has been a target of the Gunners all summer, but Arsene Wenger’s side are still yet to come to an agreement with the Ligue 1 champions.
Arsenal reportedly launched two separate bids for the 21-year-old, to which both were turned down by Monaco.
With Monaco now reportedly demanding a staggering £80m for Lemar, instead of paying over-the-odds, some Gooners are calling for Wenger to turn his attention elsewhere.
Another French forward who excelled last season was Celtic’s Moussa Dembele.
The Hoops was outstanding for Brendan Rodgers’ side last season and has been linked with a move to The Emirates.
It’s important Arsenal make a move on the forward sooner rather than later to allow Celtic the opportunity to find a suitable replacement.
Dembele is only 21 but already has strong credentials in British football.
After signing him from Fulham in 2016 for a mere £500k, the Frenchman went on to score 32 times in 48 appearances making his fee look like an absolute bargain.
Gooners, we want to hear from you! Reckon Moussa Dembele can cut it for you in the Premier League? Or are you still dreaming of Thomas Lemar in an Arsenal shirt? Let us know in the comments!
