Manchester United in the Transfer Tavern are ready for another summer of spending with the club securing Champions League football for next campaign.
The Red Devils look set for a second-place finish in the Premier League and have an FA Cup final against Chelsea to look forward to. Jose Mourinho invested heavily in his playing squad during the summer and added Alexis Sanchez to his roster in January and more signings will be necessary if they are to topple Manchester City next year.
Speculation persists that Anthony Martial will leave the club in the summer with reports linking the Frenchman with the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham and Juventus. If the former Monaco winger does leave Old Trafford, Mourinho should replace him with Ajax winger – Justin Kluivert.
Valued at £6.75m by Transfermarkt, the 18-year-old is one of Europe’s hottest prospects. He is the son of Dutch legend Patrick Kluivert and has been tipped to follow in his father’s footsteps and achieve great things.
The winger has hit nine goals and notched five assists in the Eredivisie this season and made his senior international debut against Portugal back in March. Ajax are surely keen to keep hold of their prized asset, but the allure of the Theatre of Dreams is likely to be too much to keep Kluivert at the club.
A pacey winger with a low centre of gravity, he could be the next youngster to set the Premier League alight.
