Forget Mbappe: Arsenal should make a move for this Celtic starlet this summer

Arsenal will be hoping to capture some big names this summer and get back on track next season after missing out on the top four last term.

Manager Arsene Wenger has committed his future to the club, and it’s surely now time for the Gunners to make a real splash in the transfer market and bring in the sort of players who are going to fire them towards the league title.

Our landlord here in the Tavern often finds himself in some deep, deep conversations with Gunners fans, and around this time of year it usually centres around transfers.

With the Gunners one of a host of clubs who have their eye on Monaco start Kylian Mbappe, it’s clear a striker is on the agenda. However, our landlord thinks there is another option instead of Mbappe, and that option is Celtic striker Moussa Dembele.

The 20-year-old was a revelation for the Bhoys following a summer move from Championship side Fulham last term, and he lit up the SPL with a host of excellent performances and goal after goal.

However, his desire to play at the top level could see him back in England sooner rather than later, and Celtic are bound to make a pretty hefty profit on the young striker if they do lose him.

Arsenal need a top class forward, and Dembele fits exactly the sort of player they need with pace, skill, and goals in the locker.

Gunners fans, what do you think to Dembele? Give us your thoughts!
