Manchester United

Forget Ronaldo: Man Utd must target these 2 players that could win them the title – agreed?

Man Utd were always expected to make a splash in this summer’s transfer market, but a potentially record-breaking move for one of Europe’s best and most heralded players was not on the agenda, it seemed.

However, according to the Sun, there’s at least a chance that it could happen. The Sun reports that Man Utd are attempting to crunch the numbers in an effort to land Real Madrid attacker Cristiano Ronaldo, who is looking increasingly likely to leave the Bernabeu.

Whether a deal happens, or whether he stays in Madrid, remains to be seen, but it’s fair to say that a move for Ronaldo would be huge.

However, would it be best for business? Let’s not forget, Ronaldo is in his 30s, and whilst he’s clearly still tremendous, Man Utd must look to the future. Perhaps, then, an alternative signing could be made.

But who is big enough to fill his boots? Well, these 2 players could do a decent job…

Paolo Dybala

Perhaps Man Utd could capitalise on Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus, if he joins.

Juventus already have a lot of attacking talent, and it’s unlikely that anyone would want to play second-fiddle to the Portuguese.

Perhaps, then, Dybala could be sold – not to mention the fact that a move for him could help finance a deal for Ronaldo.

In terms of what he can do, Dybala is a creative, technical and exciting attacker that can play in a number of positions. He’s lethal in front of goal, and he’s just as good at setting his teammates up.

He’s an all-rounder, and you could even argue that he’s the heir-apparent to Lionel Messi.

Nabil Fekir

What is Liverpool’s loss, should be Man Ud’s gain.

Nabil Fekir was one of Europe’s best players last season, and he became the focal point of the attack at Lyon.

Possessing incredible passing, technique and goalscoring, the Frenchman is on a path to greatness. He scored 18 goals and bagged 8 assists last season, and that’s a testament to his quality.

Man Utd lacked creativity last term – and Fekir would provide that.
