Mauricio Pochettino has managed to ensure consistency for large parts of the current campaign, with a slight lapse in concentration costing the Lilywhites on a couple of occasions. Although, an exit from the Champions League was seen as a disaster by many of our local residents, as all their hard work was undone by a poor second-half display against Italian giants Juventus.
Indeed, Spurs will be keen to improve on things in the summer transfer window as they’ll look to challenge for silverware next season, with European and domestic glory not too far away for the London club. And, it appears that the Argentine is ready to make a £40 million move for Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha in the summer months, in an attempt to bolster their squad for the challenges of next season.
