mourinhoooo!Fans from a variety of clubs in the Transfer Tavern are shocked by developments they’ve heard today as they take a break from their shopping trips, with opinions split as to whether this would be a good appointment.

The Daily Mirror states that former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is keen to take the step into international management and wants to succeed Roy Hodgson as manager of England.

Hodgson’s deal as Three Lions boss expires after next summer’s European Championships and a decision on the boss’ future will be made following the tournament, depending on the success that England achieve in France.

The former Liverpool boss is set for his third international tournament with England, after taking the Three Lions to the quarter-finals of the previous European tournament and falling at the first hurdle in the 2014 World Cup, exiting the tournament at the group stage.

Mourinho, who was axed by Chelsea recently, has won league titles in Portugal, England, Spain and Italy, as well as winning the Champions League with two different sides, and is one of the most highly-rated managers in world football.

It’s stated the Portuguese boss has told close friend and agent Jorge Mendes that he wants to manage England.
