Former Man City striker looking to come back to the Premier League

DzekoAn aura of excitement is surrounding the Transfer Tavern today as Premier League fans are discussing the possibility of a big name coming to their club.

TalkSport have reported that Former Man City striker Edin Dzeko is looking to leave Roma after just one season at the club. Dzeko has had somewhat of a torrid time at the Italian capital having only hit the back of the net eight times this season.

While attempts are being made to keep the Bosnian at Roma the 30 year old has his heart set on leaving in the summer.

Talksport cites Gazzetta dello Sport as the source of the reports, stating that Dzeko wants to return to England, where he spent 5 seasons with Man City.

No clubs have reportedly shown any interest but with a player of Dzeko’s stature available it is likely that he already has a list of possible suitors.

The Premier League may miss out on Dzeko all together though as he is also considering returning to the Bundesliga.

The former Wolfsburg man could be set to go back to his former club where he scored 66 goals in 4 seasons – or he could be looking at other options to further strengthen the German League.

Would you have Dzeko at your club? Or should he stay at Roma? Comment Below!
