Manchester United’s 18 year-old midfielder Paul Pogba could be on his way to Italy this summer. This comes after a report in The Daily Mail suggests Turin giants Juventus are preparing to offer the youngster a four-year contract.
Pogba is held in high regard at Old Trafford and is seen as an excellent prospect for the future. The French midfielder has only appeared for the first-team in a handful of apperances off the bench this season, and is yet to start a game for United.
His long-term future at Manchester remains uncertain. Sir Alex Ferguson recently stated that although ‘no progress’ has been made with contract negotiations, he hopes a deal is ‘still possible’ (Click Manchester).
Juventus are said to be very interested, and if he leaves this summer, Pogba would be joining a resurgent Bianconeri side. The twenty-seven times Serie A winners have recovered from the 2006 Calciopoli scandal and are challenging for the title under the guidance of Antonio Conte.
They are all but guaranteed to be playing in the Champions League next season, and if Pogba were to join he would be playing alongside legends such as Andrea Pirlo and Gianluigi Buffon.
Will Pogba join Ravel Morrison as the second highly-rated youngster to leave Old Trafford this season?
