There have been widespread reports that the French man is set to become Florentino Pérez’s newest Galactico, rejecting offers from the likes of Chelsea and Man Utd, but Ribery has moved to dispel this notion.
Speaking to German paper Sport Bild the 26 year old winger said,
“I am committed to nothing with Real”
Although Uli Hoeness stated that the club would sell Ribery if no deal was struck over a new contract, Ribery himself said his primary concern is to sort out his position at the Bavarian club.
Yet the injured player, who has only made 8 appearances for Bayern Munich this term, would go on to add if no agreement could be reached there were a number of clubs interested in acquiring his services,
“Apart from Real, other big clubs are interested in me and I do not want to exclude them at the moment. I have taken no decision yet.”
