Tottenham continue to wait to move into the new stadium with further delays causing further headache to their supporters.

Spurs were expected to move into their new home for the current campaign but were forced to play home fixtures at Wembley Stadium again. The Lilywhites defeated Watford in the Carabao Cup at Stadium MK and could play the next round at the same ground if they are given a home draw.

On the field, the Argentine was glad to see his side return to winning ways against Brighton following a mini-slump in the Premier League and Europe. Despite the victory, it’s clear that Spurs need to add to their squad during the January transfer window. Without doing so, they are in danger of being left behind by their rivals.

One man they could target is Bordeaux forward – Francois Kamano. Valued at £6.3m by Transfermarkt, the winger has become a crucial player for his side since joining from Bastia in 2016. Kamano netted eight goals and registered four assists in Ligue 1 last season as Bordeaux ended the season in sixth place.

The Guinea international has made a blistering start to the new campaign with five goals in just seven Ligue 1 appearances so far this season. His impressive performances have not gone unnoticed with reports suggesting Newcastle are keeping tabs on the left winger. Tottenham should also be monitoring the forward’s situation ahead of a January move.

The 22-year-old possesses electrifying pace and dribbling ability which makes him a nightmare for defenders to deal with. Despite primarily operating from the left, Kamano can also be deployed as the central striker meaning Spurs could finally have adequate back up for Harry Kane in the attack. Offering the youngster the chance of European football would definitely hand them the advantage in the race for his signature.

Should his goalscoring exploits continue, this one should be a no-brainer.
