A pocket of Paris Saint Germain fans over by the bar sipping on a pint in the Football Transfer Tavern, are debating the news from the Express, that the French club are eyeing a move for Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria and ex-Chelsea ace Kevin De Bruyne.
The publication suggests that PSG will choose either a move for Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria or Kevin De Bruyne, as a replacement for Ezequiel Lavezzi who looks set to depart the club.
Lavezzi has been linked with a move to the Premier League, and PSG chiefs are already drawing up a list of potential transfer targets to replace the star.
Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal has not ruled out selling the Argentine winger in the summer, saying to the Express: “A player is not just a man who kicks the ball from A to B.
“His environment is influencing him.
“I shall always be open (to his sale) but I know that the commercial interests of the club and we have to respect that.
“You cannot give a lot of money for a player and next season put him out of your selection.”
Several Manchester United supporters inside the Transfer Tavern are against selling Angel Di Maria, and feel that the winger has an abundance of natural ability, but is just adapting to life in the top-flight of English football.
