Nuno Espirito Santo is keen on making his Wolverhampton Wanderers side stronger ahead of their return to the Premier League and the fans in the Transfer Tavern will be delighted if they can make a few more additions.
The Molineux outfit have already been able to bring in a couple of quality players, with Raul Jimenez and Rui Patricio joining them and according to reports in Italy, they could look to use super agent Jorge Mendes’ help once again.
Gianluca Di Marzio, who is a journalist for Sky Italy, has claimed on his website that Wolves have made an enquiry for Andrea Favilli of Juventus. The 21-year-old is considered to be one of the biggest stars to be coming out of Italy, having featured for his nation’s Under-21 side seven times and is highly-rated by the Old Lady.
The Premier League side could find it difficult to broker a deal for the striker, as he is about to join the Serie A side this summer from Ascoli, however, Wolves are hopeful that they can work with Mendes and get a deal done for him.
Times are getting exciting for the Wolves fans in the Tavern as they prepare for life back in the Premier League. Despite being backed by the financial owners they have, many of the residents in the bar will not have thought they would be able to attract the types of players they have been and will be hopeful they can convince Juventus to sell Favilli to them this summer.
