Liverpool have been one of the form teams in the Premier League this season and have their sights set on going one better in the Champions League, but things haven’t always been straight forward.
The Reds managed to secure three points against a struggling Fulham side prior to the international break in what was a very dominant performance from Jurgen Klopp’s side.
However, with the January transfer window on the horizon and other teams looking to strengthen to help their own push for silverware, it’s about time the Reds started looking at potential additions.
FSG and Klopp have managed to bring a number of talented players to the club in recent times, so they shouldn’t find it too difficult to impress supporters with a couple more transfer gems.
With that in mind, here’s a look at TWO stars that Liverpool should sign in January…
Jurgen Klopp is a big admirer of the attacking midfielder, who could be a dream signing for Liverpool.
The 20-year-old’s electric pace and a neat touch gives him the ability to beat defenders with ease, while his finishing and eye to pick a killer pass also add up to his valuable attributes.
Interestingly, the Borussia Dortmund man was one of the standout performers at Wembley last week when England faced up against the United States, so perhaps the Reds should pick him up in January to provide more creativity.
The central midfielder has a very attacking mindset that has allowed him to find the back of the net on a regular basis for current club Napoli. He still has lots of potential waiting to be unlocked at just 24, and would already help Liverpool massively as a goalscoring midfielder.
Indeed, with the Reds possibly waving goodbye to James Milner at the end of the season and with Fabinho being linked with a January move away from Anfield, perhaps Zielinski will be drafted in to pick up the pieces.
