Fulham move for Premier League keeper falls through

Alex McCarthy The Fulham fans in The Transfer Tavern are gathered at the bar discussing reports that their move for a Premier League goalkeeper has fallen through.

Sports Mole is reporting that a prospective loan deal between Crystal Palace and Fulham for Alex McCarthy has fallen through.

All seemed to have been given the green light earlier today and it is reported that McCarthy had headed to Craven Cottage for a medical.

Following a series of discussions between the two sides a failure to agree on the terms of the loan have scuppered the deal.

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew was keen for McCarthy to get out and get some first team football under his belt after only managing six appearances for the Premier League side so far this season.

The Fulham fans in The Transfer Tavern are gutted at the news that McCarthy won’t be signing for the club as they would have loved to have seen him between the sticks at Craven Cottage.

Palace fans, are you happy to see McCarthy stay this window? Let us know in the comments below!
