Fulham will have a big summer ahead of them if they are keen to remain in the Premier League after winning promotion back to the big time under manager Slavisa Jokanovic. 

The Cottagers were superb last season in their performances which saw them put a tremendous run together to get to the playoff final and see off Aston Villa at Wembley.

However, the Premier League is a whole different ball game, and the Fulham fans here in the Tavern are hoping the club can go out and add some quality players to the squad in order to ensure they put up a big fight to avoid the drop.

Indeed, there has no doubt been plenty of attention on the World Cup this summer, and one man who has been impressing our landlord is Sweden defender Andreas Granqvist, who has been putting in some super performances for the

Valued at only £3.6m by Transfermarkt, the impressive experienced defender could well be a welcome addition to Craven Cottage.

The 33-year-old has been in surpisingly excellent form for the Swedes in Russia this summer, and has played a key role in his country getting into the knockout phase of the tournament.

A spell in England previously with Wigan might not have yielded the success Granqvist might have hoped for, and another crack at it with a club like Fulham might well be of interest to the defender.
