Shorey has already been on loan this season, having played for Championship club Nottingham Forest, and only returned back toVilla Park two weeks ago.
The move could work well for Shorey because Fulham’s first choice left-back, Paul Konchesky, has an ankle injury and it is unsure as to how long he will be sidelined for.
Therefore, Fulham manager Roy Hodgson could be tempted to move for Shorey because the Villa left-back is down the pecking order at Villa Park. Stephen Warnock, the player who is keeping Shorey out of the team, is currently injured himself but it is thought the injury is a short-term one.
Shorey would be a suitable target for Fulham boss Hodgson as the player will be keen to impress at a club that could potentially be playing in Europe next season.
