Fulham are yet to really get into full stride so far this season as they continue to struggle with consistency in the Premier League.
The Cottagers were completely dominant during the second half of last season, but they’ve just struggled to get to grips with the step up in the current campaign. Although, it looks as if they want to secure a couple of agreements, as according to Sun Sport, Fulham want to hand Harvey Elliott a new deal and are in talks with Ryan Sessegnon.
Indeed, the London club have opened talks over a bumper extension for Ryan Sessegnon, and also want 15-year-old starlet Harvey Elliott tied to a new deal.
Ryan Sessegnon has just one full season to run on his contract.
Worryingly, the England Under-21 winger could move for just £500,000 training compensation when his deal expires, putting him in line for a fresh £50,000-a-week deal.
Elliott became the youngest pro player ever when he featured against Millwall in the Carabao Cup this week.
And, it has been revealed that he is out of contract at the end of the season and can move for a small compensation fee.
Both players will play a huge part in the club’s future, so it’s vital that Slavisa Jokanovic can tie them down to long-term contracts at the club, even if Sessegnon’s is just an extension.
Harvey Elliott is arguably one of the most promising players in the whole of English football and Sessegnon has attracted the attention of a number of big clubs, so securing agreements for them both would be huge.
