Manchester United’s talented youngster, Ravel Morrison, has attracted the interest of Real Madrid according to Tuttermercato Web. Madrid is the latest club to be linked with the Manchester- born 18 -year old.
Arsenal, Man City, Spurs and Barcelona have all been credited with showing interest in Morrison but Newcastle is the only team to come in with a firm offer. That £1million pound offer was swiftly rejected by the Red Devils with United keen to hold onto one of the most talented players to come through their academy in recent years.
Contract talks between Morrison’s representatives and Manchester United have reportedly broken down with Sir Alex Ferguson claiming that the demands being made were “unrealistic”.
The contract rebel took to Twitter to refute those allegations by tweeting, “I have never 1s turned down a contract off Manchester United.”
So, as the standoff between Morrison and the club continues, the vultures have indeed begun circling overhead. A source close to the player has claimed that Jose’ Mourinho’s Galacticos are indeed interested in the youngster but there has been no contact between the two clubs as yet.
Surely it would be too early for Morrison to move to the Bernabeu. At his age, he needs to be playing regular first- team football in order to fulfil his obvious potential and he would not be guaranteed first-team football at Real Madrid.
