The 22-year-old has not yet made an appearance for Roy Hodgson in the Premier League and the Turkish giants could look to give him the chance to restart his young career.
However, there could be a chance that an approach from the Istanbul outfit may never happen, as they have another man at the top of their list.
It is understood that Galatasaray are keen on Gary Cahill as their main target and with his time at Chelsea looking to be at an end, the Super Lig side could make a move for him instead.
Riedeweld’s future at Crystal Palace appears to be bleak and a January move could be likely for the Dutchman.
It was believed that he was close on a move away from Selhurst Park in the summer, however, a deal fell through at the final stages, meaning he would remain in south London.
The versatile 22-year-old, who can play in midfield and defence, has featured just once under Hodgson this season, during their League Cup campaign, however, it does not appear like he will feature in his manager’s plans much more.
