Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are beginning to wonder if Galatasaray are looking at any other clubs, after it emerged the Turkish side want to secure another of their forwards.
After securing Lukas Podolski from the Gunners over the summer, TalkSport now claim the Turkish giants are eying Joel Campbell to bolster their options in January.
Costa Rican international Campbell has featured in the last four games for Arsenal, scoring his first goal for the Gunners in a 3-0 victory over Swansea City last month, but he’s expected to be dropped when Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey return from injury.
Whilst Campbell wants to stay, Galatasaray may test his resolve in January after identifying the 23-year-old as the ideal replacement for Podolski; who is tipped to leave Turkey in the New Year and return to German football.
With Campbell finally beginning to show promise in North London, Arsenal are unlikely to be open to a sale- especially with recent injury concerns identifying the frailties within their push for the Premier League title.
Arsenal fans, should you sell Campbell in January? Let us know in the comments below!
