Georges-Kevin N’Koudou turned loan move down

One Tottenham Hotspur man has rejected a move away from the club as he holds out for another side to make an offer.

According to a report by But! Football, Georges-Kevin N’Koudou has refused to join Mainz on a loan deal this summer as he is holding out for a switch back to France.

It is being claimed the winger would like to move to St-Etienne, with interest from the Ligue One outfit.

It is believed the 23-year-old would prefer to head back to his homeland after learning that he will not be in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans this season.

N’Koudou would have thought he did enough during their pre-season tour in the United States of America, however, he is yet to feature in the Premier League and did not even make the squad for their match against Fulham last weekend.

The Verdict:

The alleged decision that N’Koudou has taken to reject a move to Mainz may come back to haunt him.

There has been no concrete offer from St-Etienne at the moment and with the transfer window edging to a close across Europe, it remains to be seen if the French outfit will make an offer for him.

If they do not, the £6.3million-rated winger (via Transfermarkt) may just end up sitting out at Spurs until January at the very least, should no one else decide to snap him up.
