The Manchester City fans in the Transfer Tavern are very excited about having Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero as their two striker options.
Jesus impressed once again against Leicester City yesterday and the Man City fans by the far were delighted to see him step up and dispatch his penalty with confidence.
In fact, the Man City fans have been so impressed with Jesus and Aguero that they have almost forgotten about Kelechi Iheanacho.
Kelechi burst onto the scene last year with some important goals from the substitutes’ bench but he has fallen down the pecking order at the Etihad since the arrival of Jesus.
The Daily Mail are now reporting that Manchester City will be willing to entertain bids for the Nigerian international with Borussia Dortmund keen.
The 20-year-old has been limited to 28 appearances this season, netting 7 times in the process.
With Jesus and Aguero are the forefront of Guardiola’s plans, Kelechi Iheanacho could be off in the summer with German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund reportedly readying an offer.
Iheanacho is expected to be one of many departures at Manchester City this summer with Pablo Zabaleta set to join West Ham.
Jesus Navas, Willy Caballero, Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna, Yaya Toure, Joe Hart, Eliaquim Mangala, Wilfried Bony, Samir Nasri and Jason Denayer are ten other players who could join Kelechi and Zabaleta in a mass exodus.
