Arsenal fans are looking up from their pints here at the Football Transfer Tavern more than a little bit annoyed as the Daily Express claims they are set to face an approach from Bayern Munich for one of their stars.
The Gunners have of course seen the departure of at least one top player each summer for a fair while now and it seems that this summer new Bayern manager Pep Guardiola is set to swoop for Laurent Koscielny.
Guardiola has identified the defender as a key target after seeing the player for Arsenal and feels that the French international could be a key figure in his new look Bayern side. Arsenal will not be happy about this latest rumour and saw this summer as the one to rebuild their side and add to it, not having to fend off approaches for their top players.
Wenger is fully aware of the lure of playing for Bayern Munich who are now German champions again for the 23rd time and a real force in Europe, bouncing back from losing to Chelsea in their home final last season and knocking Arsenal out this term.
Will Koscielny be attracted to the bright lights of Bayern Munich? Rate this rumour below.
