The Tottenham Hotspur fans are feeling apprehensive in the Transfer Tavern ahead of their FA Cup replay against Rochdale at Wembley this evening.
On paper, Mauricio Pochettino’s side should stroll past their League One opposition with relative ease this evening, but the FA Cup has consistently proven that no side should be underestimated. The first encounter between the two sides ended in a 2-2 draw at Spotland as Rochadale bagged a last minute equaliser to force a replay. Pochettino gave a handful of his fringe players a rare opportunity to impress in the first-team on that day, and his pre-match comments suggest a similar line-up will be fielded this evening.
In anticipation for Tottenham’s FA Cup replay tonight, Pochettino confirmed that he plans to rotate his players against The Dale, although no individual names mere mentioned specifically.
“We are going to rotate some players to give them the possibility to play.”

Pochettino’s admission has provoked a mixed reaction amongst supporters, as plenty of Lilywhites have criticised his attitude towards their midweek fixture and called for him to field his strongest team.
However, that opinion has not been shared by the entirety of Tottenham’s fan-base, as a handful of supporters have called for the likes of Reo Griffiths and Kazaiah Sterling to make a start tonight.
Here’s what the supporters on Twitter have had to say in response to Pochettino’s comments…
