West Ham United haven't quite been at their best in recent times as they've only managed to win one of their last four Premier League matches.

The Hammers can wave goodbye to a European spot if things don't change for the better in the near future, as the teams above them are consistently picking up points.

So, David Gold and David Sullivan must secure two big signings in the remaining days of the January transfer window in order to boost their side's chances of meeting their aims.

West Ham should go all out to sign Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata, who has set the Serie A alight this season. The Colombian international currently has 17 goals and five assists to his name, including four goals in his last outing.

He would be able to produce a consistent flow of goals in the English capital and he has already shown that he can create for his teammates this season, so Arnautovic would thrive alongside the 27-year-old.

Another player who the Hammers should look to sign is Tottenham Hotspur's Victor Wanyama. The Kenyan international has spent a lot of time out on the sidelines this season and he has struggled to work his way into Mauricio Pochettino's plans since moving to North London.

The central midfielder is very powerful on the ball and rarely loses possession, along with packing a punch from long range, so he would be great to have alongside Declan Rice in the middle of midfield, helping provide a nice balance.

Of course, securing the services of one of the two players would be good enough, but securing both of them would give fans a January transfer window to remember.
