Everton have certainly come on leaps and bounds after a rather nervy start to proceedings under Marco Silva, with wins against Leicester, Fulham and Crystal Palace in recent times.
The Toffees failed to secure any points against Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United last time out as they were narrowly beaten 2-1 away from home at Old Trafford.
Interestingly, Everton will welcome Brighton and Hove Albion to Goodison Park in their next Premier League fixture. The Seagulls have been in sublime form recently having won their last three games, so the Toffees will be up against it in front of home support later on today.
With that in mind, Marco Silva must get his team selection right by selecting these TWO Everton stars…
Andre Gomes has only made a couple of appearances for the Toffees so far this season but he already looks like the real deal in the middle of midfield.
Indeed, the Portuguese midfielder has looked calm and collected in possession and has the ability to pick a pass going forward, so the likes of Richarlison, Bernard and Theo Walcott will thrive with his service in the side.
Therefore, Everton must make the most of his rich vein of form by including him in the starting lineup once again.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has had to settle for a rotational role in the current campaign after welcoming Richarlison and Bernard to the club during the summer.
Although, the forward has excelled during his time on the field, with four goals to his name already.
Therefore, with Everton only really getting the best out of Richarlison when he finds himself out wide, perhaps Marco Silva should think about letting Calvert-Lewin lead the line.
