The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping that their side will be able to kick on over the coming weeks. For the most part, it has been a decent campaign so far for the Reds, but with inconsistency really slowing their progress, it’s clear that Jurgen Klopp has a lot of work to do if he wants to keep his side in the Champions League ahead of next season.
Fortunately, though, the German has been handed a significant boost in that regard this week, with injury expert Ben Dinnery providing the latest news update on Klopp’s injury problems. Fortunately, for a change, it’s good news for the Reds, with Dinnery offering positive updates on both Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson. Lallana, he notes, played behind closed doors earlier this week and came through unscathed, whilst Jordan Henderson is also back in full training. The pair, of course, have had their fair share of injury problems lately, with Lallana, in particular, suffering this term.
Jordan Henderson has returned to full training following his recovery from a thigh injury. Meanwhile, Adam Lallana came through a behind-closed-doors friendly unscathed on Tuesday. A decision on Mane will be made closer to kick-off. #LFC

The return of Lallana is a huge boost for Liverpool, given that the Englishman has not played for the club since picking up a long-term injury in August. Henderson, meanwhile, was forced out of action for his country, and so the fans in the Transfer Tavern have been sweating on his fitness this week.
Lallana’s return could be enough to reinvigorate a mixed season for Liverpool. He is so crucial to their playstyle, and they’ve missed his technical ability and endless running this term. It remains to be seen when he will return, of course, but the fans in the pub will be hoping that it is very soon.
Henderson, meanwhile, as their captain, is as important as they come – and so his return could not be coming at a better time for Klopp.
