The Liverpool fans in the Transfer are looking forward to the return of the Champions League. It’s been a while since the club has been able to compete in the tournament and have a genuine chance of reaching the latter stages, and they’ve certainly got that potential under Jurgen Klopp.
On their day, they’re good enough to beat anyone – as evidenced by their demolition of Man City a couple of weeks ago.
With the January transfer window now done and dusted, much of the attention of our resident Reds has turned to the Champions League, with big expectations on the shoulders of Jurgen Klopp and his team.
Fortunately, Liverpool have been handed an interesting boost, it seems, ahead of the games – at least judging by a recent announcement by the club. Liverpool have now submitted their official squad list for the latter stages of the competition, as per their official website, and there is an interesting inclusion in the shape of Nathaniel Clyne.

Clyne has yet to play so far this season, and in truth, nobody outside of Liverpool really knows when he is going to return. This inclusion isn’t quite confirmation that it will be before the end of the season, but at the very least, it appears as though there is a chance that the Englishman could return soon.
Unsurprisingly, this has generated a lot of excitement over on Twitter, with fans responding to Liverpool’s Tweet revealing the news. Indeed, it appears as though Clyne is a very popular man over at Anfield.
Take a look at what has been said below…

Great to see Clyne back. One of the few solid reliable players we have, but surely it will take some time before he is match fit, let alone CL fit!
