The Man City fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping for Sergio Aguero to return this weekend. The Argentine, though he has been involved in the first team squad since returning from injury, has yet to feature from the start for the Citizens, and that has left the fans in the pub desperately awaiting his return. After all, prior to his injury, he was regularly scoring for his club, and so his return is only going to make the side more deadly.
Fortunately, Pep Guardiola has delivered the update that those fans have been waiting for, with the Spaniard revealing today that the Argentine forward is ready to play, potentially even from the start, against Burnley on Saturday.

Though Guardiola did not go as far as to say that he would start the game or, indeed, come on from the bench, it seems as though some sort of involvement is forthcoming, and that is massive for the Sky Blues. Though they have looked good without him, there is no doubting that they are better off with Aguero in the side – and so Pep Guardiola is likely to be a very happy man.
Aguero has already bagged 6 goals in the Premier League, and alongside Gabriel Jesus, they have collectively formed one of the most deadly attacks in Europe.
Man City’s squad is full of depth, but nobody has the experience of scoring so often for so long like Sergio Aguero.
He’ll no doubt pick up just where he left off when he does return.
