Rafa Benitez will likely have been pleased with the business that Newcastle United managed to do on Deadline Day on Thursday.
The Magpies managed to bring in a number of his targets, including the addition of Miguel Almiron from Atalanta United – which smashed their transfer record from 2005.
If the club were unable to have achieved the business that they had managed to conclude, there will have been even further doubts that Benitez could look to leave the club at the end of the season.
And, it appears a number of clubs across the world are interested in the Spaniard, although Guillem Balague has revealed the manager has already turned down two lucrative offers.
The Spanish football expert revealed on Twitter that Benitez had an offer from Saudi Arabia and China both worth 10million per year, for two years.

Here is more on that story and how it is developing.

“I’ve heard Rafa Benitez has been approached by one club in China and another in Saudi Arabia,” he said.
“Both of them are willing to pay 10million net, per year, for two years.”
Balague also revealed Benitez has been an offer of a five-year extension on the table from Newcastle which he has not yet signed, whilst the Almiron signing could go a long way into helping him to commit his future.
“This was about two months ago and Benitez said no,” he added.
“He has a five-year deal on the table at Newcastle which he has not signed, yet. With Almiron arriving, he is happier, but he would like it to continue.”
There is no doubt that Benitez is a great manager and has been a hugely influential figure at Newcastle during his time at the club.
With The Magpies finally backing him in the transfer market, it could make it easier for the Spaniard to decide to sign the five-year extension, although he will want to see that investment continue.
With the news that he had rejected big-money approaches from other clubs, it could be just a matter of time before Newcastle fans get what they want and see Benitez remain at St. James’ Park for a number of years.
