The Brighton and Hove Albion fans in the Transfer Tavern are disappointed after very nearly grabbing a victory over Everton.
The newly promoted side looked like they were set to grab all three points before Wayne Rooney’s late penalty denied them the win.
In a largely uneventful game, it looked like it was heading for a goalless draw before Anthony Knockaert opened the scoring on 82 minutes, latching onto a rebound after Michael Keane blocked Jose Izquierdo’s effort.
The lead was short lived though as Everton were awarded a late penalty.
Bruno was adjudged to have elbowed Dominic Calvert-Lewin inside the area and Wayne Rooney, who had been largely disappointing all game, stepped up and converted the spot kick to equalise for Everton.
The point rescued the Toffees from another disappointing loss with increasing pressure on Ronald Koeman now.
Brighton move to 14th with the point, three points clear of the drop.
Here are how their fans reacted to the draw.
Gutted for the players – Onwards and upwards, keeping it positive for next match
I love you Bruno, but I hated you in those last few minutes!!

Take Bruno to one side and have a chat.

What was with Bruno knocking Knockaert’s hand away after the game? What an angry, ridiculously selfish, arrogant player.

Great performance wrecked by Bruno. What on earth was he playing at
Gutting, but it speaks volumes that a smash and grab draw flatters Everton rather than us, a performance to be proud of #BHAFC
