Southampton managed to secure their first three points of the campaign yesterday against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The Saints definitely look to be improving as their summer signings continue to deliver quality performances. Although, the club’s new players aren’t the only ones looking to make an impact, as according to reliable journalist Alan Nixon’s personal Twitter account, Harrison Reed is hoping to breakthrough into the first team next term.
Harrison Reed has joined Championship side Blackburn Rovers on a season-long loan, but he is not yet giving up on his Southampton career and is hoping to make a breakthrough into the first team next term.
Indeed, the midfielder has made sporadic Premier League appearances for the Saints ever since breaking into the first team back in 2013, but he has found himself down the pecking order in recent seasons, spending last year out on loan with Norwich City.
Harrison Reed has plenty of potential still yet to be unlocked and has shown moments of brilliance in years gone by, but he does struggle to ensure consistency at times and hasn’t quite lived up to the hype.
But, he now has the chance to prove himself in the Championship at Blackburn Rovers, with a successful season possibly helping him reach his aims of breaking into the first team next season.
