Leicester City have been a mixed bag so far this season as they’ve taken six points from their opening four Premier League fixtures.
The Foxes couldn’t manage to secure a result against a determined Liverpool side at the King Power Stadium last time out, so they’ll be desperate to improve after the international break. Interestingly, the Midlands club managed to secure a huge player agreement recently, as according to Leicester City’s official Twitter account, Harry Maguire has signed a new five-year deal at the King Power Stadium.
Indeed, Leicester City have confirmed that defender Harry Maguire has signed a new contract, keeping him at King Power Stadium until June 2023.
Of course, the Englishman played a huge part at the World Cup during the summer months and has quickly developed into one of the best defenders in English football since moving to Leicester City.
So, it comes as no surprise that the Foxes have decided to extend his stay in the Midlands after such a successful past year.
Harry Maguire is one of the key players at the King Power Stadium and will be vital in their push for European football in the current campaign.
The Foxes will be delighted that they’ve managed to secure the services of the 25-year-old for five more years as Manchester United were sniffing around during the summer transfer window.
So, the Midlands club should now be inspired to kick on after the international break.
